A Manager-Centric Contractor Dashboard

Our goal was to understand whether the hypothesis of building a platform for managing talent suppliers and the outsourced talents themselves would generate value for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Therefore, we conducted a journey of multiple interviews, tests, and market research with managers, legal and financial leaders, HR leaders, and procurement leaders.

01 Main Goals

  1. 1Prototype and develop landing page to test product offering for potential customers.
  2. 2Prototype first design and define first components of the dashboard to go for user testing.
  3. 3Test platform with potential customers to validate the business hypothesis.

Our main challange

How can we make the journey of allocating outsourced talent more efficient, agile, and productive for small and medium-sized enterprises?

02 Design Process

Persona design

Based on more than 15 interviews, it was possible to create: clearer product hypotheses, align internal team with project barriers and opportunities, narrow down the types of companies that should be analyzed in benchmarks, build personas, user journeys, new interview iterations, and prototypes to be taken to the user.

Wireframe

With the aim of aligning with stakeholders the value proposition and how the product could be displayed to the end customer, some wireframe versions were built.

Based on the wireframe, we were able to understand how to "package" the product in a more marketable way and connected to the routine of the personas.

MVP Smoke

For the final test on awareness metrics, we created a smoke MVP. We sought to develop a landing page with a demo video of the platform and a lead collection form.

From the leads collected, we conducted new understanding interviews to refine the product hypotheses and the constructed flows.

03 Final Results

04 Key Learnings

  1. 1

MVP smoke as a quick and important artifact for validation

With the support of a growth team, we were able to gather important insights with the smoke MVP to understand whether we will proceed with the product or not.

  2. 2

The importance of a high-fidelity prototype for testing

The high fidelity of the prototype was a crucial factor for the clients to understand the proposed flows and compare them with the current tools they use in the company's daily routine.
